How we look after your information

Last updated 20 October 2026

Life After Pet Loss is run by Rayne Holdings Group Inc., a Canadian company. This page explains, plainly, what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • The free letter: your first name and email address.
  • Memorial pages: the details you choose to send about your animal, your name as you’d like it shown, your email, and any photos you reply with.
  • Purchases: handled by our checkout provider. We receive your name, email and what you bought, never your card details.
  • Basic site data: standard server logs and the essential cookies the site needs to work.

How we use it

To send you what you asked for, to build and look after memorial pages, and to send occasional emails from Summer if you agreed to them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time.

Memorial pages are public

Memorial pages can be seen by anyone with the link and may appear in search engines. We publish only what you send us, and never dates, illnesses or how an animal died unless you ask us to. Ask us any time to change or remove a page.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your information. We use a small number of trusted services to run the site (web hosting, email delivery and checkout), and they handle your information only to provide those services.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by replying to any email from us. We follow Canada’s privacy law (PIPEDA) and anti-spam law (CASL).
